Niko Algieri is the TRX® Training Club director of trainer branding and one of the UK’s leading fitness professionals. Known for sculpting the bodies of professional athletes, celebrities, and even royalty, Niko Algieri’s name is synonymous with precision, form and technique. His core philosophy? To make fitness accessible to all so everyone can feel empowered—both physically and mentally.
Shana Verstegen is a TRX and ACE Master Instructor, a member of the Under Armour Training Team, and a six-time world champion lumberjack athlete. She holds a degree in Kinesiology - Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin and is a certified personal trainer through ACE, NASM, and NFPT. Through her background as a coach, she has guided her log rollers and collegiate track and field athletes to many records and titles. An energetic and personable speaker, she is also the National Spokesperson for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
Danny’s role as a Senior Master Instructor for TRX® involves extensive travel around the globe, developing the TRX® Instructor cadre, delivering educational workshops, training courses and classes for hundreds of fitness professionals, educators and enthusiasts. Danny believes in the timeless statements, ‘Lead by example’ and ‘Practice what your preach’. This is not just for himself but to also help inspire others to be better and work towards their best.
Personal trainer, all-around Pilates geek, and former ballet dancer, Charlotte Tooth delivers spicy workouts to suit all levels and abilities. After discovering TRX 8 years ago, Charlotte has taught Suspension Training courses all over London, including with coaches Jay Brockway and Niko Algieri. Her dynamic classes are a super-charged combo of dance-meets-strength training, and also works 1:1 with clients to enhance their technique and rehab injuries. Her go-to move? The TRX Pike Split.
Miguel Vargas eats, sleeps, and breathes all things fitness. Miguel is the Manager of Training & Development at TRX, a TRX Master Course Instructor. Suspension Training is his passion and has helped him excel in swimming, cycling, and natural bodybuilding. As a coach, his main goal is to deliver exciting, fun, challenging, and safe workouts that help people achieve their individual fitness goals.
Senior Education & Training Manager. Jason is a decorated athlete, an accomplished leader, and a fitness industry trailblazer. A Collegiate All-American and former MLB baseball player, Jason turned his competitive spirit into a competitive edge in business. He earned his MBA in Strategic Management and is nationally certified through the NASM, ISSA, NCCPT, and the NCEP. He is a motivator, a mentor and an innovator who truly believes that movement is the foundation of fitness.
TRX Master Instructor Krystal is an adventure-seeking power yogi and co-owner of SWEAT Power Yoga in Massachusetts. Her advocacy for total wellness, passion for teaching, and wanderlust has inspired her 15+ years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry and as an international educator. Known for her cueing techniques, Krystal is all things TRX and Yoga. She believes that TRX Yoga creates the ultimate opportunity for people to move well and enhance their daily lives fueling her drive within this industry every single day.
Ben has been involved in fitness training in one form or another for many years and knew he’d come across something great in TRX Training. He’s honored to be part of TRX’s UK Master Trainers. When it comes to fitness he likes to keep things varied, interesting, and more importantly, fun! He believes in practicing what he preaches. He loves education and has taken a whole host of courses to improve his knowledge, which he thinks is invaluable. He loves working with people and helping them with various aspects of their fitness and health such as: losing fat, getting back into shape, rehab after injury or illness, creating healthy nutritional habits, achieving more in a safe and fun way, and increasing speed and performance for chosen sport or activity. Ben’s personal mission is to become a black belt in the basics of Push, Pull, Hinge, Lunge, Squat, and Rotate!
Fraser Quelch is one of the founding members of TRX®. Recognized internationally, Fraser has been the recipient of the canfitpro Specialty Presenter of the Year Award, the ECA Industry Impact Award, the ECA Innovative Program Award, and the prestigious IDEA Program Director of the Year Award.
Jay Brockway is the TRX® Training Club director of trainer development. With a background as a semi-professional football player and boxer, he brings a unique perspective to his training arsenal, utilizing the best-of-the-best methods to keep his clients challenged. He currently works with professional boxers, celebrities, and royalty.
Chris Nentarz, PT, is a physical therapist, performance specialist, and educator. He currently lives in Buffalo, New York, and is the director of an interdisciplinary wellness and rehabilitation clinic called THRIVE at D’Youville University. Specializing in movement science and sports orthopedic rehabilitation, Chris has over 20 years of experience working with athletes and patients of all levels. He is a sought-after speaker on topics related to sports medicine and human performance and is a firm believer in an interdisciplinary approach that focuses on educating and empowering athletes and clients to succeed using movement and mindset.
Matt is a TRX Senior Master Trainer, Power Plate Master Trainer and has been an International Educator within the Fitness Industry and for 16 years. Throughout his career, Matt has worked with high profile sports organizations and athletes including: 4 Premiership Football Clubs, a number of Team GB Athletes and a number of national health club chains. Matt was nominated for Fitness Professional of the year in 2013 and has contributed to many fitness articles and features in magazines, newspapers and on TV. His work with individual clients, personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches and health operators has inspired many.
A former dancer, actor, and professional singer, Georgia Legg started her fitness journey 5 years ago. Today, she’s one of the top trainers in London, known for injecting a little performance flair into her workouts. She prides herself on tailoring each experience to the individual, making sure everyone feels as if they have gotten some one-on-one “G” time. Don’t be fooled by her exceptionally warm and welcoming personality, though—she runs the most formidable TRX classes on the block.
Michael Piercy, MS, is the owner of The LAB in Fairfield, New Jersey. He is the recipient of the 2017 IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year award and the 2013 TRX® FACEUP award for Overall Instructor of the Year. A former professional baseball player with the Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Mets, and Montreal Expos, he brings a unique perspective to his work with athletes and active adults. He holds a master’s degree in exercise science with a concentration in performance enhancement, and multiple advanced-level certifications from ACE, ACSM, NASM, and NSCA.
TRX Content Manager & California native, Zack grew up in the central valley in the city of Ceres before making his way to San Francisco and becoming a TRX instructor. When Zack is not foam rolling, teaching TRX, or swinging kettlebells, he is in GG park playing frisbee golf, watching bay area sports teams, traveling, eating at ALL the great restaurants in the city, and in the kitchen cooking to create delicious and nutritious meals!
TRX Head of Content and Talent as well holds certifications with ACE & AFAA, Precision Nutrition, and is a Behavior Change Specialist, Pilates, and Yoga Instructor. She also holds fitness certifications in TRX, Kettlebell Concepts, ViPR, Animal Flow, Indo Row, and Schwinn Cycling. Angela is based in Los Angeles, where she lives with her wacky French bulldog Lucy and thrives on a nourishing regimen of Pilates, yoga, hikes in the mountains, belly laughs, long conversations, and spontaneous dance parties.
